Flamingo has 2 sexshops, in Tsar Simeon Street 200 and 208. The one in 208 also has video cabins on the groundfloor and a gay bar in the first floor. Of all gay bars the Flamingo is the oldest one, opened in 1995. Unfortunatly its not very popular anymore and would need some renovation. If you like to hear more about the gay life within the last decades in Bulgaria or about the gay life in the countryside dont miss to talk to the owners, Angel and his boyfriend Svetoslav. Its always nice to talk to them. But dont expect too much if you go to to Flamingo bar. It can happen that you are the only visitor in the bar, after you paid the entrance fee of 5 BGN. Also be very carefull when you leave the place. It happened more than once that foreign visitors of Flamingo got robbed on the way home.
